祥風 (Showfu) is a talented calligraphy artist born in Japan and currently residing in Singapore. She founded Nikon Inktion to channel her enduring passion for calligraphy. Showfu's mother, who shared the same pen name 祥風, was also a professional calligrapher and introduced her to calligraphy at the tender age of 5. Showfu's artistic journey took her to Belgium, where she pursued her education in fine arts, ceramics, and the history of art, honing her creative sensibilities.

After dedicating 14 years to the Shipping & Maritime industry, Showfu's passion for calligraphy was rekindled. She embarked on a journey to relearn Chinese Calligraphy at the prestigious 日本教育書道藝術院 (Nihon Kyoiku Shodo Geijutsuin) in Tokyo, where she earned the title of Master of Calligraphy. This achievement was made under the pen name 祥風, in tribute to her mother's legacy.
